Seeking Solutions

There is only one solution: substantially reduce the levels of RF-EMR.

The science is clear. There is ample evidence that we need wireless radiation guidelines that are truly protective  now!

Health Canada must update its guidelines for RF-EMR to incorporate all of the evidence of harm, beyond over-heating of tissues.

Political will is necessary to bring about positive change

Canadians need to become informed about the “canaries in the coal mine” — that people, in Canada, are being displaced from their homes and communities because exposure to wireless radiation is making them ill. Canadians need to know we are all vulnerable so they can reduce the risks to themselves and those they care about. Informed Canadians can then work to educate elected representatives, medical professionals and others to press Health Canada to do its job of protecting Canadians.

The science is clear. Many plant, animal and other species are adversely affected by low levels of RF-EMR  – levels that are much lower than those commonly found in the vicinity of cell tower antennas.

The solution is enactment and implementation of adequate policies and laws to protect wildlife, including plants and animals such as birds and pollinators — and our pets.

Exposures can be reduced by  maximizing your distance from sources of wireless radiation and by minimizing your time close to wireless emitting devices.

If neither of these is effective enough, then an option may be to use shielding materials.

We can’t see or hear wireless radiation but there are tools to make the invisible, visible and to make the inaudible, audible. A simple way to do this is by using a handheld EMF (electromagnetic fields) meter or detector. There are many EMF meters on the market that display real-time exposure levels and also have a sound function.

When using shielding materials, it is important to do this correctly.

There are many resources to educate yourself. Proper mitigation may require the services of a professional skilled in in-home assessments and how to properly mitigate and remediate conditions.

There are knowledgeable people across Canada. One place to start your search is the Building Biology Institute: buildingbiologyinstitute.org

For those who are particularly vulnerable, there is an urgent need for low-wireless areas where levels are below 0.01 mW/m2 i.e. at natural or near-natural RF-EMR background levels. That means cell towers and other wireless wireless-emitting devices and equipment must be kept far enough away or powered down or powered off. For people who can no longer stay in their current housing situation because of the encroachment of sources of wireless emissions, safe havens are needed where people can recover and thrive.
