The report contains 15 recommendations to address inadequate federal protections, educate the public on risk management, engage the medical community, install safe hard-wired technology, monitor and map radiation exposures.

Response – Recommendation 62 states “The Committee recommends that Health Canada and Environment and Climate Change Canada conduct studies on the effects of electromagnetic radiation on biota, review the adequacy of the current guidelines provided in Safety Code 6 and report their findings back to the Committee“
Health Canada responded Safety Code 6 did not need to be reviewed.
