An Analysis of EMF Social Policy and Mobile Phone Practices In Canada
- 0 Comments
We analyze Canada‟s social policy response to public health concerns about exposure to electromagnetic frequencies (EMF) related to mobile phone. The primary objective is to consider the factors that may or may not contribute to how Canadian policy makers interpret and enact policy with respect to EMF exposure standards. We utilize EMF as an example of a technological issue that has attracted controversy from a public health perspective (i.e., over 80 percent), this has not had an impact on policy agenda setting for EMF in Canada.
